As unrestrained tears pur down my face, I can feel
   You.
You are here to give me peace
But how can I believe in something I can only feel
   in my heart?
How can I know if You are real,
Not just something I "feel"?

Help me belive.
Give me the faith that I need
To know that, for me, You would bleed
And give Your life. So help me tonight;
Give my soul wings for flight.
Release me from these bonds of sin
So that I can be with You again.

Help me believe.
I want to know You in my heart,
And have the assurance that we will never part.
They say that You're everywhere, so help me to see
Just where You are and where You want me to be.
I'm so afraid to let go, so afraid to trust.
Yet, deep inside my soul, I know that I must
Lay my life in Your nail-scarred hands.
Only then can Your love cut the bands
That hold my soul in this eternal torment.

Help me believe.
Then my soul will be free...
Lord, give me faith to know I'm not alone.
