A few updates and thoughts for ya...
Plus I was tired of the old journal, as it had to do with something that's no longer an issue. Yay elections.

The song is one of my favorites right now because it's something I really relate to. I really feel like God's been leading me through a time of growing up, in a sense. A time of moving on. I guess I just got to the point where I didn't want to be bitter anymore...I mean, I did because I thought it gave me some sort of power, but it really doesn't, you know?
So anyway, once that point got through my thick skull (God uses 2x4s frequently with me LOL), I started to realize that while I was being bitter against these people, I was letting their mistakes ruin my life, which I only have one of. And I didn't want that anymore.
I'm not saying what they did didn't hurt - there were some deep wounds there and there's still some healing and forgiving to be done, I'm sure. I'm just tired of being stagnant, like I'm waiting for life to catch up with me when it's actually the other way around, I think. lol

Anyway, let's see...
I wasn't able to go to Neko-con like I'd thought because my car had a problem (not starting is a problem, yes? ). It was fixed and it ended up being a good thing that I stayed here this weekend. I'm getting a lot done and me and ma are talking and actually getting closer. It's really somethin.

Bummer of the week was when I went to the doctor on Wednesday and said my right arm had tendonitis. You know, I never really noticed how much I use my right hand (even though I am right-handed) until now. Pain has a way of emphasizing such things, haha. But it's alright - I'm in meds which should bring down the inflamation. And the car is fixed. And I've got the day to myself and I'm feelin good and just...light, I dunno. It's hard to explain. I guess "hopeful" is a good descriptor, for lack of a better word.
